RHODES SCHOLARSHIP
. The Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee will meot at the Supremo Court Buildings, Wellington, at 10 a.m. on Jindav next for tho purpose of selecting one of four candidates for the special war scholarship offered by tho Rhodes Trustees. His Excellency Sir Robert Stout, Acting-Governor-General, will preside. The selected candidates from tho different centres are as follow:— Auckland University College.—Mr. P. O. Vcale. ~ r T i? Victoria University College.—Mr. J. ii. Brodie. _~ , r o Canterbury University C-ollege.-Mr. is. P.M'Callum. Otago University—Mr. H. J. Ry;> un J; Tho local candidate, Mr. J. E. Brodie, is a son of Mr. John Brodio of Karaka Buy, and hiis earned distinction, fit Victoria University as a mathematician.
