Sir,—My attention has been called to a letter in your issue of to-day (Saturdny), August 7, whicli appears under the heading "The, Milk in the Coconut." The letter in question contains a quotation from a short article in the "Maori, land Worker" for August i. As the "Maoriland Worker," owing to its description as "the official organ of the United Federation of Labour and tho New Zealand Labour Party" may bo held to bo voicing tho opinion of tho New Zealand Labour Party on matter* with which it deals editorially, I am compelled to state definitely and explicitly that neither the quotation given by your correspondent "Fabian" nor the article from which tho quotation, expresses the opinions or represents'.-, tho views of the New Zealand Labour Pai;iy, % —I am, etc., ■'~,,■ p.
