TURKISH NATIONALISTS
DEFEATED BY FRENCH TROOPS. (Rec. August 4, 7.10 p.m.) London, August 3. A Beirut message states that French troops severely dofeated a large force of Turkish Nationalists at Yemidge. The Turks, with numerous guns, foughtfiercely. The French made six bayonet charges. Four hundred Nationalists were killed and 250 taken prisoner, including a number of German officers. Tho victory has greatly improved the situation in Galicia.—Reuter.
