The price of Gas on and from SEPTEMBER 1 prox.. will, therefore, be increased to One' Shilling per 100 eft. gross, with a discount of twopence per 100 eft. on all accounts paid by tliß usual discount dates. Government. Those submitted by unsuccessful competitors will be returned. Designs to be in black and white only, aud to be suitable for 1 reproduction in silver. The badge is intended to be worn on the lapel of the coat, and should not exceed lsin. in its greatest diameter. The following prizes will be awarded :— To the competitor, submitting the selected design '410 10s. To the competitor submitting the design placed next in order of merit, 45 ss. Tho competition will be judged by a Committee appointed by the Hon. Minister of Defence, whose decision must in all cases bo Accepted as final.
