NO GROUND FOR GROWERS'
DISSATISFACTION
THE DELAY IN COMPLETING ACCOUNTS I
London, August 2. Mr. J. F. Hopo, Financial Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions, interrogated in the House of Commons, 6.aid there was no real ground for Australian 'dissatisfaction regarding tho wool accounts and woolgrowers' bonuses. All accounts and the balance-sheet were forwarded to the Australian Government without delay, but, owing to the immense amount of detail, it was impossible to complete the accounts until a year had elapsed. Payment of a bona? to New Zealand woolgrowera had been recently arranged, amounting to half the profits ascertained up to March 31, 1919. The Australian Government had been informed that ,£G,d83,901-that is, half -the profits on Australian wool 6old up to March, 191U— will.be credited to Australia as soon as tho accounts are accepted—Aus.-N.Z. pable Assn. -'
