WORK RESUMED YESTERDAY.

Work on tho City of Winchester, which is loading for Home; was resumed i nt 1 o'clock yesterday. On Monday a number of watersiders were dismissed because they rofused a certain form of "sling." When the men'turned to yes-', today', however, they made no objectionto the "sling," and the work proceeded smoothly. It is understood that the matter was discussod at yesterday a, "stop-work" meeting of watersiders.
