WAR ON PROFITEERS
ACTION BY UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. (Rec. August 3, 8.30 p.m.) Washington, August 2. The Department of Justice is starting a new war on profiteers, following the announcement of higher clothing prices. The officials have issued a statement to the effect that lawbreakers who attempt to fleece the public will bo prosecuted.
