The Prime Minister announced yesterday that u telegram had been received by His Excellency the Administrator of tho Government from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, advising that the sum of XI ,619,009 had been placed at the disposal of the New Zealand Government for distribution to New Zealand wool growers 011 account of (roiits earned on the sale of wool, tho subject cf tho Imperial requisition up to March 31, 1919.
Distribution of the amount amongst the wool growers entitled thereto will be made by the Department, of Imperial Government Supplies immediately 011 tho receipt of certain information from Government woolbrokers, which they have been asked to supply.
