ROUND THE WORLD BY MOTOR-BOAT
— r ,—.^ A one-man voyage round the world in n small boat is proposed by Captain A. L. Napper, of the Sussex Motor Yacht Club, Brighton. "I shall buy a suitable boat and convert her to my requirements mid start as soon as possible," .writes Captain Napper. "She would be a single-handed cruisei" and would go via Madeira. Teneritfe, Barbadoes, Panama, across the Pacific to Australia, Torres Straits, across flic Indian Ocean to Durban, Cape Town, St. Helena, Ascension, the Azores, and back home."
' Captain Napper, who served in the R-.N. Transport Service during the war, sailed a 9-ton boat from England to Cape Town in 1904-5, covering the 10,000 miles in 105 sailing days.
