The cows were not in very good condition and consequently prices were lower than at recent aalea. We quote: Dairy cows, £18 10s., £17 to £9; 20-month steers, £4 65.; 20-month heifers, £5 165.; bow, due August, £14. At Te liehunga, on Thursday, wo held a successful clearing sale on account of Mr. Stanley Malmanche. ,The majority of the cows were young and met with a ready sale. Tho herd, exclusive of two empty cows and one 3tcater, realised the satisfactory average of £19 2s. 6d.. individual prices being £31 ' 10a'. £26. £20 10s., to £13: empty cows, £6 10b.; 20-month heifers, £10; weaner heifers. £7 55.: horses, £28.
