THE MAHANA'S VOYAGE. The Mahana left Liverpool on May 27 at 8 'p.m., and renched Newport News on Juno 14. Colon was reached on Juno 19 and Balboa was left the next day. At the latter port two ladies fell off tho quay and one, Mi 6« Stack, was drowned. Tho other girl was rescued by members of tho ship's crew. From Balboa onwards strong' head sales were experienced. During tho voyage out an elderly woman, Mrs. F A Dransfield, died from heart failuro. while three births occurred. Tho following officers are- aboard:—Captain W. Kershaw; first officer, Mr. P. Ohowloa; second. Mr' Fletcher: third, Mr. Roberts; chief engineer, Mr. Nich'olls; second, Mr. Patterson; third, Mr. Watts; chief steward, Mr Rutledge. The Mahana is expected to sail on Thursday for Adelaide Sydney. Brisbane, and Melbourne, and after coaling at Newcastle, she will return to load for Home. She is expectod back about August 25, THE TAHITI. The Tahiti is now to leave Auckland for Vancouver on July 28. PALOONA FROM MELBOURNE. The Paloona ft due to leave Melbourno to-day for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. .-She should sail from hero on the return voyage on July 28. , KUROW PROM ADELAIDE. The Kurow arrived early yesterday morning from Adelaide. Sho has a general cargo, including Bait, phosphates, and a number of Bhecp. fiho is expected to leave for Lyttelton on Wednesday. Tho British-India chartered steamer Garbeta arrived from Auckland last.night She brought 7500 tons of general cargo for New; Zealand and Australian porta and is expected to leave for Melbourne In a few days. SINGAPORE FROM NEWCASTLE. The tramp steamer Singapore arrived yesterday from Calcutta, via Newcastle, en route for Soutlv American ports. Sho will hunker here, and then resume her voyage, Messrs. J.'
