Ho then mado übo o! obscene language, and for this offencc he was fined £5, with the option of 14 days imprisonment, and for drunkenness \vaa fined 5c., with ttio option of spending 24 hours in gaol. Alexander Oaperou Gordon had in his possession on June 20 tho sum of £#J, and on July 16 he was so reduced in fcircumstanoes that he stole a razor valued at 100/, _tho property of Thomas Purcoll, and sola it to a socond-hand dealer for 2s. 6(1., in order to obtain food. Ho pleaded, guilty, and tho Magistrate deoided to eive him another chance, aud fined him £5, with the alternative of ono month B imprisonment.
