Chicago' reports state that the third party will be known as the Farmer and Labour Party. • It lias nominated Mr. Parley Clu'istenson, 'a lawyer, of Utah, for President, and Mr. Max Hayes, a Labour lender, for Vice-President. Mr. Christensen announoed that he would retire in favour of Senator La Folletto if the would.consent to assume tho nomination. Senator.La Follette had telegraphed to the convention that he would not run on the ticket if nominated. A strong faction, comprising tho original founders of the Third Party movement, are greatly dissatisfied with the platform and the and may organise its own party candidates and platform—Aus.-N.Z. Chicago reports state that tho dissatisfied element of the Fanner and Labour Party have organised a new movement called the Liberal, Party.
