The. secretary of tho Graziers' Association stated that although the other organisations had made terms with shearers, the New South Wales branch was determined hot to concede the forty-four hour week.—Press Assn. The shearers on the Midkin Station, Moree, ceased work following on a refusal of the demand for increased rates. A meeting of shearers in Sydney resolved to demand_ a weekly wage for all classes employed in 'connection with shearing, also 10 per cent. in. crease in wages for every week or part of a week sheds are kept idle by the pastoralists declining to concede the demands—Press Assn.
