INCREASED PAY FOR SHEARERS
Melbourne, July ic, Mr. Blakeley, president of tho Australian Workers' Union, has announced that an agreement has been effected with the pastoralists of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, providing for „C 2 per hundred for shearing, largo increases for shed hands, cooks, and woolpressers, and a 44-hour week. The Central and Western districts of New South "Wales arc not included in the agreement-Press Assn.
