» • MOTIONS FOR REDUCTION DEFEATED. (Rec. July 12, 8.15 p.m.) London, Jifly 10 A Labour motion for the reduction of the Estimates was defeated by 24G voles to 37. A number of Unionists abstained from voting. A motion by Sir Edward Carson for a reduction of the Estimates was defeated by 240 votes to 129-Reuter.
