JUDGES TO BE APPOINTED BY ' LEAGUE OF NATIONS ': By Teletfraoh —Prtii Association—Copyrliflit • London, July 7. ■ An'obstacle'.wliich has hitherto prevented the creation of an International Court of Justice has been overcome. 1 he Jurists' Advisory Committee of the 'League of Nations, sitting at The Hague, has adopted a plan by which- Judges will • be selected by the Council jciijl Assembly of the League of Nations, voting separately.. If agreement is not reached, provision is'made for''a"joint. Mediation Committee; or,, finally, by ''filling • up vacancies by Judges already' selected. This result was impossible of 'attainment at the Hague Conference of 1907, and is only possible to-day through the existence of the machinery of the League of Nations.—Eeuter.
