Tho Miners' Conference passed a resolution advising delegates to the. forth-, coming trades congress that unless the' Government withdraws tho troops from Ireland and ceases tho production of munitions for Russia and Ireland, ' a general order to "down tools" will bo recommended, with - ballots wherever necessary: The conference also passed a resolution refusing to operate the Mines Bill if passed, and urging the Labour Party to' vigorously oppose the measure. —Aus.-N.Z.
