1 ._ OPPOSITION CAMPAIGN IN INDIA SYSTEM OF BOYCOTT AND SUSPENSION Br Telesraph-Press Associatton-CoDyrlffM Simla, July 4. The campaign against] Hie Turkish Peace terms in India, as embodied in a plan issued by Gandhi, the Indian leader, will open on August 1. It comprises the surrender of all titta and honorary offices, non-participation in Government loans, the suspension by lawyers of their practice in the settlement of civil disputes, a boycott of Government schools by parents, a boycott of the Reformed Councils, non-participation in Govern, ment parties and other such functions., refusal to accept any civil or military post in Mesopotamia or to offer as unit's for the Army, and a vigorous boycott of foroign-produced goods. There is a. risk of an outbreak of violence in suck a campaign, but except for this, it is not believed that the movement will have tho slightest chance of embarrassing tho Government—Aus.-N.Z.
