Wardon, who had been master of the Bcliool during tho time that 200 of the lads whoso names appeared on tho roil had been there, gavo some kindly advice to the assembled scholars, urging them to 6trive to pinulato the high ideals of those who had done their duty to their country when tho opportunity came, On the call of the chairman, three', cheers were given for Mr. Piruni, who, niter returning thanks, willed'for cheers for the committee and tho staff, stating that the Campbell Street Committee was one of the best in the Dominion. .. A meeting of tho Pa'.merstoir Aortii branch of tile Homo Service League was held on Wednesday evening. Members discussed tho petition to Parliument asking for gratuity, and it general service medal, and submitting claims such as assessment under the Discharged Soldiers' Act, repatriation, etc. There are over 5000 signatures attachal to the petition. Twenty new members were electe"d. ' '•
