June was a fairly damp month in Weilington. According .to the Wellington College record, the rainfall ai that end of the city amounted to 6.28 inches, m against 2.39 inches in Juno, 191 C; 6.1 V inches in Juilo, ©Ifl; and 6.41 inches in June, 1917. The rainfall in the college grounfig from July 1, 1919, to June 30, 1920, was 51.92 inchrs—as nearly as possible at the rate of one inch per week. 1 For years, similarly calculated, the falls werel9lß-19, 37.89 inches; 1917-18, 43.42 inches.
