Messrs. L. Butcher, A. H. Brudshnw. and L. Danlells were appointed as selectors of the team. ' A proposal from the New South Wales Hockey Association through the New Zealand Association was received. Tie proposal allowed for flvo matches In New Zealand tat Ohristchurch, Nelson, Wellington. M.-inawatn. nnd Auckland). The New Zealand Association desired a cuarantee o[ £100 from the Wellin&ton Association. As t!io quality of the team would* be doubtful, and the matter of finance and profits did not appear to be satisfactory, it was decided not to asslßt in the tour.
