There is, in Japan, a wax-tree, the fruit <:f which is mostly pure vox. This h used for making wax-eandles. The "wax-fruit," which this remarkable treo bears, grows in hunches, just like grapes, The to'cl production of radium in the United States up to the close of-1918 is estimated at approximately 55 grams, vhich is understood to be more than half of all the radium the world has produced.
