DEATH OF COUNTESS OF DUDLEY
COLLAPSES WHILE BATHING,
_, - , London, Juno 28. The Countess of Dudley collapsed while bathing at "Rosmuck, Connemnra, and was drowned. The Countess Dudley arrived at Rosmuck on Saturday morning, and went swimming in the afternoon in Carmiebay, with a maid. She was an excellenlt swimmer, but was drowned in sight of tho maid, who was powerless to assist. The body was recovered, within half an hour. The Coroner, after receiving a doctor's certificate that death was_ due to natural causes, decided ithat' an inquest was unnecessary. The Earl of Dudley had a salmon fishing at Rosmuck for many years. Lord Ednam, his son, arrived at Rosmuck to-day.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.

TTho Earl and Countess of Dudley are well known in Australia, for the Earl was Governor-General of Australia from 190? till 1911.1
