CALL FOB HELP RECEIVED. •Up to the time of going to press no further news had been received of the American schooner Vigilant which was reported by a wireless message received at Awanui and Wellington 011 Wednes*' day night from Garden Island Station, • Sydney, to be in difficulties 150 miles north-west of Lord Howe Island. The message stated that the vessel had struck heavy weather, with the resultthat her deck cargo had shifted, and she intimated that she would probably need assistance. The Vigilant is a five-masted 6choonor of 1439 tons register, and was bound from Gray's Harbour, Washington, to Sydney.
