DECIDED WIN FOE AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auokland, June 23. The Auckland Eugby League team de l feated the rest of New Zealand this afternoon. The (game needß little description. Auckland cmDlctely outclassed' their opponents in, the back division especially, and came out winners to the tune of 54 points to nil. Rain fell during, most of the afternoon and the ground was muddv. The Aucklandcrs handled tho greasy ball with great aocuracy, and many excellent passing rushes wero witnessed. At halftime the score was 26,t0 nil. .Davidson (Auckland three-quarter) did most of the scoring, others who crossed the line being Cloak, Woolley. Sumerß, and Walters, The visitors showed very poor combination, and were all at sea with the greasy ball. Their forwards showed to most advantage, but received little assistance from the back division. The southerners plaved better in the Becond spell than in the first, especially in loose dribbling rusheß, while their tackling was much more solid than In the onenine half. In spite of the rain; thorc . was a largo attendance of spectators.
