MR. MASSEY
Sir,—Tour summary of achievements, during the past six months, by the Prime Minister, furnishes interesting; "reminders" of a few of the important tasks undertaken by him—in themselves sufficient to demonstrate the aptitude of Mr. Massey to tackle subjects of the greatest magnitude. But what about the number of deputations which he lias received (hiring the six months? I seldom read your .paper without noticing that a deputation on some matter—large, or' small—has waited upon the Prime Minister; and it seems.that he is every ready to give all and sundry a fair hearing! It is perhaps unnecessary for me to add my meed of admiration for "the man who gets things done." Ido so simplv for the reason that many of us' are prone Ito forget—alas, too readily— what we owe to .one who discharges his multifarious duties without fear or favur.—l am, etc.,
