NEW MAGISTRATE
Ml!, A. M. MOWLEM APPOINTED. Tho appointment of Mr. Arthur M. Mowlem, of Auckland, to the Magistracy was announced yesterday by tho Ifon. E. P. Lee, Minister of Justice. Mr. Mowlem has been in active, practice as a barrister and solicitor in Auckland for Bomo time, in conjunction with his partner, Mr. Neumegan. He has lad a wide experience at the bar both in tho Magistrate's and Supreme Courts. It is probable Mr. Mowlem will be stationed in the South Island.
