A happy evening was passed on Tuesday by a largo audience of Beafarers at the Sailors' Friend Society, whon a concert full of popular items was Riven. The performers were Mesdames Harding (hostess) and Chalk. Misses Qarflhook. Gibson, L. Olnrk, Diokinson, J. Lewis, and Messrs. Harding, M'Kelvio. Harvey. Davies, J. Smith. Mrs. Harding was at the piano. Tho competitions prizes, came From Mesdames Harding and Hopkins and were won by men from the I'aparoa, Remucra, and Schwarzonfols. Thanks are tendered , for recent giftß of reading matter for tiße' , at Boa.
