COUNCIL MEETS IN LONDON REDS' INVASION OF PERSIA CONSIDERED By Telegraph—Presa Aesociation-Oopyrlgn* (Rec. Juno 17, 0.5 a.m.) London, Juno 14. The Council of the League of Nations met at St. James's Palace to consider, inter alia, the situation created by the Bolshevist invasion of Persia. Sir Erie Drummond, Secretary-General, and Lord Curzon represented Britain; M. Deft'ouriau, France; and Prince Firouz, Persia. There were also present representatives of Spain, Belgium, Japan, 'Italy, and Greece. The doctor who is charged with the supervision of the repatriation of Allied prisoners in Siberia was present in an advisory capacity. As regards Persia's appeal it is understood that no unanimous decision was arrived at. With a view to arriving at perfect concord between the Persian representatives and the rest of tho members, the Council agreed that a separate meeting be held between the Persian and French representatives in the presence of Sir Eric Drummond with the object of reaching a unanimous decision.—Beuter.
