« FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY Present indications are for easterly winds, strong' to gale, northwards of Kawhia. and East Cape, and freshening oaßterly aud northerly winds elsewhere. Unsettled conditions and rain are probable eoon in the northernmost districts, and fair weather elsewhore, hut with skies clouding over shortly for change to follow. The barometer has a. falling tendency everywhere. Atmospheric pressure has remained very high over the Dominion, and easterly breezes have predominated, but gales have beeu reported in the far north.
