The Wellington South Miniature Rifle Club has completed its shooting for the past month, and some interesting competitions hare been decided. A feature of the month's shooting was a new "bull's-eye record" by F. B. Franltlyn, who put on 21 consecutive bull's-eyes, beatmj the previous record of 18 held by W. J. Conibear. Tho contcst for trophies donated by Messrs. F. M. Renner and 0. Adams resulted in a tie between T. Ahlers and B. Goldfinch; tho shoot-oR resulted in a further tie, but in continuing the shoot Ahlers eventually won after 14 shots had been fired. Tho scores-were as follow :-T. Ahlers (scr.), 139; B.
