DROUGHT BROKEN
GENERAL RAINS IN WESTERN NEW SOUTH WALES. (Rec. Juno 13, 5/5 p.m.) Sydney, June 13. General rains, have been experienced in the western part of the State. Indications aro given of. great rainstorms during the next few days.—Press Assn. : FLOODS FEARED IN QUEENSLAND. (Rec. Juno 13, 5.5 p.m.) ~ Brisbane, Juno 13. Soaking rain has fallen in tho western area. Rivera are rising and floods are feared. Tho paddocks in many places are under waiter. Tho holders of store cattle now decline to sell, holding tlio stock for fattening. It is generally admitted that the drought has broken.— Press Assn.
