P. AND T. OFFICERS
THE SALARIES QUESTION,
The P. and T. officers' conference has been in communication with the Prime Minister regarding salary matters again, complaining somowhat bitterly of alleged delay on the part of Mr. Massey in not giving an answer to the previous demand for increases. Mr. Massey's reply that the P. and T. salaries matter would have to awuit consideration until tho railwaymen's dispute had been dealt with by the. Government, was received witlr expressions of dissatisfaction __ by members of tho conference. Mr. Massey has agreed to receive another deputation from the conferenco, and this deputation will probably wait upon him to-day. At this interview the points indisputo will no doubt be traversed in detail.
