MR. LEE TO BE PRESIDENT. The .Board of Trade is to be taken over by the Hon. E. P. Leo this week, probably to-dav. The Prime Minister may possibly no concerned as head of. the Government in the proposals whicli ho has already mentioned for the reconstruction of the board, but he will not. any longer be its president. Mr. Massey, witli thn'duties of Prime Mill. ister, and the big portfolios of Railways and Finance, has rather more than enough to do without being concerned with regulation of the cost of living. Some announcement in more detail about the reconstruction of tlie board may bo made this week.
