5 AUCKLAND'S ENORMOUS TOTAL. By ToleerupU—l'roEs Association. Auckland, June 9. The tolalisator investments in Auckland during the racing season just concluded prove highly satisfactory rending from tjic racing clubs' and Government's points of view. The total amount put through the machines at all local race meetings was ,£1,896,481, and the Government collected in taxes jii.st over £93,0(10. The total for the A.B.C. meetings was .£1,052,140, made up as follows: Spring, .£122,612j summer, J435.781; autumn, .£195,855; ltoyal, .C77,47G; winter, £220,391.
