The headmaster (Mr. D. S. Bedingfield) reported that the number on the roll at the dato of his last report was 535; admitted during past four weekß, 12; withdrawn, 15; . average attendance, WH; present roll, 532. On an average 90 children had 'been absent daily, and that was duo, no doubt, to the fact that influenza and whooping cough were prevalent just novr. Two pictures, presented by Mrs. Bradstock, 'end two South Sea Island irats.'the gift of Mr. A. Webb, had been received. Mr. A. Wylie, of Pahiatua, is spending a short holiday in Petone.
