• « POSITION PRECARIOUS. (Rec. June 8, 11.10 p.m.) ' Rome, Juno 7. The Government's position is precarious, owing to the Socialists refusing assent to Signor Nitti's decree increasing the prico of bread and flour. The Socialists are organising a 6trong Parliamentary and public opposition to the decree, which was badly received. The railway situation is also most serious, arising out of tho refusal by railwaymen to movo troops and ammunition. .The newspapers nceusa Signor Nitti of weakness.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
