LONDON WOOL SALES BETTER TONE ALL ROUND. (liec. June 3, 9.30 p.m.) London, June 2. At the wool sales there was a better tone all round, anil the withdrawals were much fewer and were confined mostly to inferior qualities. Thero was a firmer tendency for both merinos and emssbreds. Slipes wero slightly dearer. Tho New Zealand lots sold include Ecilding, at 51Jd. per lb. It is announced that tho series will be curtailed by a week. Next week's offerings will be reduced.—Aus.-N.Z.
