A number of questions of future policy was now before tl\e Committee for examination. A declaration of policywould bo made as soon as the Admiralty saw its way clear. In defending the expenditure on oil fuel bases, Mr. Long said it was the bounden duty of the Admiralty to soo that tho storago was such that it would be impossible for ships to be deficient in supplies wherever tliev might be throughout tlio world— Aus.-!N.Z.
