A sonsational affair is reported to havo taken place at King's Inn, Henrietta Street. Dublin. About fifty Sinn Foolers surprised twenty-fivo soldiers who were guarding tho inn and deprived them of their arms and ammunition and two machine-guns. Tho sentry was surprised to get the word of command "Hands Up!" and promptly obeyed. He was deprived of his rifle, and tho SinnFeiners then darted to tho guard room and overpowered tho soldiers, covering tho twenty-four with revolvers. The party escaped in motor-cars, after telling the soldiers to remain where they wero for at least ten minutes or bo shot. As thev left the raiders wero loudly clieemi by a crowd which had assembled outsido the inn. Police and soldiers are now scouring Dublin in search of tho raidel's. but so far without result. Raiders attacked the Queenstown Naval Station, igniting and destroying a portion of the buildings. Other raiders destroyed five coastguard stations on the South Coast. Defence of these stations is difficult owing to their isolated positions. A party of Sinn Feiners raided a large garage at Cork and seized a number of motor-c'ars, blindfolding the garage mechanics and keeping them in a field throughout the night while an attack was made on the police barracks at Blarney. (Sec. Juno 3, 11.35 p.m.) London, June 3. A series of determined attacks on police barracks were made in Ireland yesterday. Two hundred men attacked Clara barracks, in King's Couuty, with rifles and bombs for two hours, shattering the walls. Tho police refused several demands for surrender, and eventually repulsed the raiders, who in addition to the usual impediments on roads and tho cutting of telephone wires, tore lip the uTailway in ft number of plaees. Raiders at Eenit, a few miles from Traleo, in County Kerry, penetrated two houses adjoining the barracks, ami scattered petrol and tenited the buildings. Then they opened fire, which lasted two Jiours. Bluejackets on a destroyer in Tralee Bay, seeing tho flames, landed and rescued the police. Two of the defenders were wounded. _ Many incendiary bombs were used in an attack on Pive-mile-boume barracks, in County Leitrim. Some were hurled through a liolo in the roof. It is believed that several of tho raiders were wounded. Three hundred men attacked Crossgar barracks, in County Down. They entered adjoining houses and attempted to makoja breach in the barrack walls with dynamite, but failed. Mcanwhilo some of the attackers began rifle firo from a house opposite.
