In the Houso of Commons, Mr. Walter Long stated that British warships would protect tho sea communications at the Crimea until an armistice was arranged between Genoral Wrangel's army and Spviet Russia. Negotiations to that end would begin shortly. Tho warships were intended to prevent a Bolshevik attack along tho J3lack Sea coast road to Batonm, and to support the garrison at Datum. Mr. Long denied that Britain was making war against Soviet Russia. The Admiralty was strictly carrying out the policy laid down by tho Premier in tho House of Commons.
