London, June 1. Sir Francis Younghusbaad, in his presidential address at the Geographical Society, stated that an expedition to the summit of Mount Everest is being arranged.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Ami. [Mount Everest lias an altitude of 2i),0f12ft., the highest known peak in the world.]
