Levin and Co., Ltd., report:-We held tho following sales last week-.-Clear-ins dairy sale, on account of J, bhirloy, at Pharazyn Street, Fcilding, on Monday; yard sale at Jlullfl, same day; clearing Bale at Mr M'Nao's at Mount Biggs, on Tuesday; clearing sale on account Ircd. Simpson, Ohakea, on Wednesday; clearing dairy sale on account .U. V. Kemnant at Makowhai, on Thursday; and yard eale at Feilding, on Friday. . •■ Mr. Shirley's sale was well attended, and cows sold particularly well, lhc * cows made from £8 for a, cow in milk, to £30 for a hign-grade Jersey cow', with an average of over £19 per head btoro cows, £5 to £5 55.; sows in pig, £7 Ids. to £10; boar, £9; sow and litter, ±H; boar, £10 ss. Mr. M'iXae's sale: Sheep, cattle, and sundries made good values, but no'buyers were present for horseß, and only a. lew gold. Mixed aged ewes, rw. Khropshiru rams, made 30e. ,Bd. to 315.; best mixed lambs.-25sj others. 18s 6d to 22B;.bhropshlro ramß, £1 Is.; dairy cows, £.6 to £25; springing heilerß. £12 to £15, unbroken hacks, £5 to £13 Mr. F. Simpßon's sale: This sale was largely attended, and a Urst-claes sale resulted, ftvee r.w. Wackface ram*. Mte ; whlteface lambs, 225. 2d,; blackfaco lambs, 18b 6d: empty ewes, 235;: springing heifers, £11 10s to £13; weaner heifers, £6 1M , dairy cows. £9 to JEW; plough horses, £36, £53, £39, £43; lighter sorts, £14. Mr. Remnant's sale: Small attendance, with not much demand. Heat cow. made from £12 to £18 ICa.: others,. £/ 10s. tt, £11? springing heifers, £12. to .£l4 10s : sow and litter, £11; sows in pig, £5 to £8 10s.; boar, £10; porkers, £3. Dulls sale: Sheep sold readily, with .\ good demand for empty fonyard owes aufl sound lambs. Cattle were dimoult of sale, and very little business done.
