Tho remnant fled in panic. —Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. POLAND PROTESTS TO AUSTRIA AND CZECHOSLOVAKIA. (Rec. June 1, 7.30 p.m.) London. May 31. A wireless message from Moscow states that M. Tchitcheren (Commissioner for Foreign Affairs) has protested to Austria and Czccho-Slovakin against their permitting tho sale and transport of munitions to Poland, and declared that such action jyill have an influence ou the fate of Austrian officers in Russia, and may also lead to a stoppage in the exchange of war prisoners—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. CAVALRY INVADE ARMENIA FORMAL PROTEST TO MOSCOW. London, May 31. Delayed British telegrams. from Tifiis report that two cavalry regiments crossed the Armenian frontier at Uzunenln on May 21 and advanced into Armenia. The Armenian Government formally protested to Moscow, and also dispaioiiod troops to the scene.—Renter.
