The public meeting to be held in the Town Hall on Friday next is being looked forward to with a very great deal of interest. Although this meeting lias been arranged by the Wellington R.S.A.,it is a miblic meeting, and the citizens of Wellington are invited to take the opportunity of hearing what tho speakers—Miss N E. Ooad, M.A.. Professor Hunter, and Mr. G. Mitchell, M.P.—have to say on tho subject. The remedy for tho present high prices will be explained to the public at this meeting. Mr. W. Perry, the prcsi dent of the Wcllngton U.S.A., will occupy the chair, and in addition to the speakers mentioned above, returned soldiers who bave given tho matter 6erious consideration will place their views before tho public.
