Messrs. .Abraham and Williams, Ltd.'s weekly report :-On Monday, May 24, we held a successful clearing sale on account of Messrs. Woidroffo Bros., Foxton. Tho herd of 53 cows was submitted to a small attendance of buyers, and averased £13175. 6d. Beet cowi £19, £111. £21 10s., £22, to £23 10a.: medium cows. £14 10s., £15 10s., to £1? 10a; ordinary and late calvers, £6 to £11 10a. On -May 2-5 we held our monthly sale at Raumai. We had a fair yardinn of sheep, but a noor yardinc of cattle. Wo quote:—Two-tooth empty ewes, Z7s.: four-tooth to four-year ewes (runnine with Southdown rams). 315.; four-tooth wethers. 365. 9d.; lambs. 12s. 6d.; dairy cows, to £16. : On May 26 we held a clearing sale on Account of Mr. Ancel Gray, Kairaaua. There was a small attendance of buyers. The stock, which was chiefly prown bullocks, met with a poor demand, but the sheep and sundries sold at late rates. The following nrices were realised :-fiix fat bullocks. £16 lis.; 19 lieht fat bullocks. £12 Is.-. 19 ftve-year fat and forward bullocks. £12; 14 four-year bullocks, £9 155.; 34 three and a half-year bullocks, fat and forward £11 25.; two. and a half-year Bteers, £7Job.j dairy'cows, £10 to £28: fat cows, ~ 51 P153. Bd.: 52 fat and forward ewes. 225. 6d.: 31 fat lambs, 255.. 21s. 7d., 21s. 6d. Sundries also sold well. On May .27 we held our weekly Palmei-fiton liorth sale A irood yardin? of sheen and cattle came forward. There was a poor demand for all clasßes of stock.
