HARRIERS

- The members of tho Olympic Harriers Club assembled at Karori for the weekly rim last Saturday, and a good muster turned up (26 runners). Pearston, an old Mastorton lmrrior, and Lovell were entrusted with tho selection of the course, which wai about, eii miles, Tho paper layer being gone about ten minutes, thu slow pack of about twelve runners, •in charge of Jeltreys, were sent away. Tub fast pack, in ohargo of the captain, followed in their wake. The usual run-in was held over tho last Quarter mile, and resulted :-W. Clark, 1; G. Davis, 2; A. Claytou. 3. After tho run Mr. 0. Wilson supplied afternoon tea, at which 38 members mid their friends sat down. Tho president thanked Mr. Wilson for his kindness Tho club three-milo scaled handicap will take place next Saturday.

BBOOKLYN CLUB. The Brooklyn Club held their threemiles sealed handicap at Seatoim on Saturday, twenty-five runners facing Mio starter. Mr. Bristow. From the word "Go!" Hell went to tho front, and at tho end of half a mile was leadine liobinsoii, Bcnlice. and D. Todd in that'order. At Miramar. with half tho distance gone, the field was well strung out, tlio lighter men ending it hard to battle against tho head wind.
