LEAGUE FOOTBALL
FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. The Management Committee of tho Wellington Rugby Football League was liold last evening. Mr. F. 0. Evans presiding. The New Zealand Council wroto requesting tho league to nrroiige to procure tho Basin Reserve for tho English match. It was decided to write the City Council as requested. The Hawkc's Bay league wrote suggesting the first week in July for the return match against the Wellington team. Tho date was approved of provided the Basin Reserve could bo procured. The following are the'games for next Saturday :— Seniors.—Athletic v. Newtown, at Newtown Park, at 3 p.m., Mr. Bradley: Suburbs v. Petone, at Petonc Park, nt 3 p.m., Mr. A. House. .Trillion--CoUral v. Petone at' Kmereon Street. Mr. Evans; Rovers v. Athletic, at Hutt Park, Mr. Duncan; Suburbs v. Petono North, at Petone Park at 2 p.m., Mr. Langrish.
