UNPRECEDENTED DEMONSTRATIONS OP LOYALTY. Melbourne, May 31. All public movements of tho Princo are. attended by unprecedented demonstrations of loyalty. The crowding in tho streets sometimes is so denso that it is difficult for his car to malce progress. His appeal against crowding followed an incident in which a young ladv in throwing a bunch of violet's into us car approached too near, and was knocked down. She escaped with a shaking only. The Prince is so crowded with engagements that lie has barely time to snatch a little exercise. Tceatorday ho attended service at the Cathedral. _ Mr. W. M. Hughes, in addressing tho lournaltsts' meeting which was held at the invitation of the Federal' Government to honour the. British and Australian pressmen accompanying the Prince, spoke of the influence the loyal demonstrations would havo in impressine'the world of tho Empire's unity.— Press Assn.
